How we research

Every guide starts with authoritative sources: university cooperative extension publications (.edu), botanical garden references such as the Missouri Botanical Garden, and the Royal Horticultural Society. We cross-check facts across at least two independent sources before publishing.

How we write

We use AI tools to assist with drafting and structuring, but every article is reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by a human editor before publication. AI never publishes directly to this site.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t invent credentials. Our editor is a passionate home gardener, not a certified horticulturist — and our bios say exactly that.
  • We don’t publish medical, legal, or financial advice.
  • We don’t copy content. Everything is written fresh, in our own words.

Updates and corrections

Gardening products and recommendations change, so we review and update articles regularly. Each article shows its last-updated date. Spotted an error? Email queenofangel960@gmail.com — we correct mistakes promptly and transparently.

Product reviews

Comparison and “best of” guides are based on spec research, user reviews analysis, and published testing data. Where we’ve personally tested something, we say so; where we haven’t, we don’t pretend otherwise.
